Our commitments

Our CSR commitments have been part of our DNA for more than 20 years. They are reflected in our values and our approach. STEF Group strives to develop its activities with respect for health, safety, social responsibility and the environment.

#1 For our planet

As a player in the food supply chain, we are aware of our responsibility to the planet and the need to reduce our CO2 emissions. Our "Moving Green" program reflects this commitment and consists of three pillars: sustainable mobility, a responsible cold chain and support for all our stakeholders.

Our main objectives:

  • Reduce emissions from our vehicles by 30% by 2030.
  • By 2022, we reduced our GHG emissions by 16%.
  • By 2025, 100% low-carbon energy in our buildings. By 2022, 75.7% of our energy mix was low carbon.

Our actions

At our facility in Bodegraven, 1,700 solar panels were installed. These panels have an expected output of 580,000 kWh per year. That is equal to approximately 30% of STEF Bodegraven's total energy consumption.
